I had to work hard to parse the Tobey Maguire Spidey won, but worth the effort. War weary Americans joke was great. A fun round-up with more heartwarming moments (Yoko and Linda) than usual. I needed that. :)
Sal, this is not a comment for your Saturday dump, just to ask if you're familiar with White Reaper. I saw a link to one of their vids on a site I check, and the YT vid comments included this blurb: "What makes this band so good for me is their sound combines Cheap Trick, The Cars, and Thin Lizzy three bands you'd never expect to blend together nicely. In addition they're just damn good at their craft from the instrumentations and catchy melodies." I haven't had a chance to listen yet but it sounded, even if the description turns out to be wrong, like something up your alley. C in California
Plus, White Reaper has a guitarist named Hunter Thompson. That's pressure to party, a name like that. A Nashville band I'll check out too since I'm on a Cheap Trick binge.
Thanks for the recommendation. I listened to "You Deserve Love" and it does it indeed sound like all three bands, though maybe a bit weak in the songwriting department. Going to listen to the new album, as well. Thanks again.

So many good ones... I'm sure that '58 halftime show was heads above this year's Super Bowl halftime egg-straffa-gonzo.

Thanks for this weeks dump. Never seen the Linda/Yoko photo. That's a keeper.

So good, several made me laugh...
Now I'm jonesing for a kishka!

Probably your best batch yet.
And I'm so sad over the last one ... before it even comes to pass. President Carter is one of my very short list of actual heroes.

@Sal
The two I heard, which were pretty catchy, were Might Be Right and Real Long Time, both on the album you're gonna check out.
