Rodney Crowell has been making solid records for years. Some are better than others and few if any are not worth your time. On May 5th, he releases "The Chicago Sessions" produced by Jeff Tweedy. I think this is a terrific pairing and from the sound of the first single, something I am really looking forward to.

Really starting to prfer the albums that Tweedy is producing instead of the latest offerings from Wilco. That song is fantastic.

"It Ain't Over Yet" ,with his ex Rosanne Cash, still makes me weak at the knees. That song is a powerhouse.
Rodney’s recent duo albums with Emmylou Harris are excellent. This new single is also very good. Hopefully the whole album is, too. Thanks for the heads-up.
