Go West- Geraint Watkins
"Wagons HO!"

Bandulo- Freddie McGregor

The "Bobby Bobylon" album is a classic. This is the first track on Side One.

Weak Spot- Ruby Johnson

I made an attempt to recreate the Detroit Cobras album "Baby" with the original versions. It wasn't as easy as I thought. Here's one of the tracks. More will appear in various places over the next week or two, like today's Song Of The Day.

Weh She Do Now- The Gaylads

One of my favorite reggae vocal groups. Hope you three enjoy it.

When We Were In Love- The Cynz

The Cynz were suggested by our pal Shriner. I really enjoyed the album and this song.

Salce Dames, Bon Jour- Don Vappie & The Creole Jazz Serenaders

Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans? I do. I'm still not over having to cancel my last trip in March, but songs like this one make me feel better.

Chain Letter- Todd Rundgren
“The lyrics have his typical left-handed optimism, and just when they get jaded, the track opens up; and multiplies, as ‘Hey Jude’ did. But ‘Chain Letter’ has more balls and goes through several changes, while ‘Hey Jude’ never went past spirited repetition”---Patti Smith

Well, she was dating him at the time. Still, I do love the track,

Thanks, Shriner - great song!

Always enjoy The Gaylads and Freddie McGregor.

Runt. The Ballad Of Todd Rundgren - not bad for a 23-year-old kid.

Would like to hear some more details about the Todd show the other night. Set list?

Randy,
The show was terrific. After 50 years and about 125 shows, I can't believe I can still get excited by his song choices and the heart put into his performances. The setlist was unique. A few strange choices, but a number of tracks I absolutely love that I thought I would never hear live again. His voice is still strong, as is his guitar playing. And Kasim is still a secret weapon to making it all sound huge!

SET LIST
I Think You Know
Secret Society
Weakness
Stood Up
Lost Horizon
Buffalo Grass
Beloved Infidel
Hit Me Like A Train
Wouldn't You Like To Know
Sweet
Kindness
Woman's World
Afterlife
Down With The Ship
Honest Work
Rock Love
God Said
Fascist Christ
Hawking
Worldwide Epiphany

Encore:
I Saw The Light/Can We Still Be Friends/Hello It's Me (Medley)
The Last Ride
A Dream Goes On Forever

All these years I never knew Patti Smith dated Todd ... wow. I knew he produced Wave, but wow.

They kind of look like the same person sometimes.
