Garth Hudson, 1937-2025

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

See you in four years, or hopefully sooner.

Such a talent! Now they are all gone.

Someone told me they interviewed Garth for that "Once Were Brothers" doc. Maybe now we'll get the chance to see the footage.

There would be no The Band without Garth. RIP to a great musician, whose style is unmatched.

I always loved the story that Garth told his family that he was The Band's "music teacher" so they wouldn't worry that he was in a rock 'n' roll band.
Truth is, he was a music teacher in every sense. Will be missed by all students of great music.

R.I.P. Garth! Thank you for the music.

He had no equal in popular music. He gave such an added musical dimension to The Band's music. I am deeply saddened by his passing, the last great member to a truly five-member band. Not a good day.

Agree with everyone else. A great musician, and a big influence on one of the greatest bands.
