Let's see, only three comments on the Songs Of The Week post, three that weren't me on the Martin Belmont post, and three that weren't me on the "West End Blues" post.
Has everyone fled to Canada?

Word.
In all seriousness, I think the shit's that's going on in the world currently is having an outsize depressive effect on what should be pleasurable stuff like, y'know, listening to and commenting on music. 😎
Yeah. I hear that. I am trying to take the high road and be the distraction, otherwise, I'd be turning on the gas.
On and on to the break of dawn! By the way, I have never even heard of Continental Drifters! Not a whisper. You had me at Richard Thompson with them.
I promise to comment! No need for hip hop! Loved the Martin Belmont, can’t find it anywhere. Loved the Went End Blues.
You know, I love the Jurassic 5 and I think this song here is pretty damn easy to take.
I’m not much of a hip hop fan, but it was just humor. No judgement intended.
I saw the humor. No worries Jeff. I can't help myself. I need to defend the music I love in any capacity.
I come here for the wit and wisdom from you, Sal and your regulars. Frankly, I don't feel I have much of worth to contribute. But I guess an occasional "thank you wouldn't go amiss, would it?
Thank you!
@Michael Glitz Continental Drifters rock!

If anyone enjoys The Continental Drifters, please check out Peter Holsapple, and if you like him, check out Peter Holsapple and Chris Stamey, and if you like them, check out Chris Stamey... I could go on and on.

Holsaple's Out Of My Way from 1997 is a fine record. CJ
Present!
I think the entire human race was traumatized by the isolation and death of Covid. And now, everyone who isn’t in the cult is being traumatized by the vandalism of our government, and the cruelty of the people who are now ransacking it.
But there’s a ground swell of resistance that has begun bubbling up.
Music is a balm and a refuge and an inspiration to not let the bastards grind us down. And BW remains a great place to find new music and old music and entertaining commentary by the proprietor and the visitors. Thanks always.
Daily reader, rare poster.
Refreshing! Interesting lyrics. ;)
Big fan of Jurassic 5. Part of the L.A. soundtrack. Good to see them getting some exposure here at the BW sanctuary.
