Sorry to say I am unfamiliar with him but digging into his bio I read that he has played at the Turning Point in Piermont, NY a club I visited several times back in the day. Sal, ever go there ?
The Turning Point is one of the great music rooms in the universe. I've been there more often than any other venue ever. Great sound, great sight lines, great waitresses and the owner John McAvoy is a real mench!
Anybody want to join me there Friday June 19th to see Finn & The Sharks (best rockabilly ever, mostly originals), I'll buy you a drink or two!
I am a lucky man because 12 years ago we started our younger son on piano lessons - age 5. Nowadays, he can blaze through anything from Chopin to ragtime to near-ambient deep thoughts on the piano. And I get to hear it all the time.
He's going to college in the fall though, so my days of hearing piano in our house almost daily are about to come to an end. He's at his next-to-last ever piano lesson right now - about to go pick him up - because the teacher takes June/July off.
Wow, I went off on a tangent there! Why? Because music is life.

GENIUS!!!!
Only a genius can reduce such thing to a few sentences. Bravo Mr. Cleary!
Well done. Even a non-musician like me can understand that.

That was really great.
Brillant! So enlightening.
It might be appropriate to add "Professor" before JC's name is that title wasn't already taken. He sure taught me something.

You know, my hands are seriously arthritic, but I have a similar keyboard at home and I'm gonna learn how to play that lick if it kills me. 😎
