There is a new record on the horizon. It is a collaboration between Yes bassist Chris Squire and Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett. It is called Squackett.
Terrible name, but this does interest me. Then again, I'm one of the few who will actually admit to liking the "GTR" album with Hackett and Steve Howe. I even saw them on that tour.
It's a perfect hybrid that both Yes and Genesis fans will enjoy. Yes, the name is awful, but if you can get past that, it's definitely worth a listen....far better than I ever would have expected. I also (unexpectedly) really enjoyed the most recent Yes album Fly From Here.

I was a fan of those guys. In 1974.
Sal - are you serious about this?
And at the same time, I just read on Rolling Stone.com that Yes has another lead singer.
Yours is no disgrace indeed.
squire also put out a cd of christmas carols a few years back called Swiss Choir...see what he did there?
Maybe they are in on it. I'd like it more if they were.
Hope they put more effort into the music than they did the name.
and Hackett has produced some good stuff
