Paintbox- Pink Floyd
Picked up a copy of "Relics" in a collection, gave it a spin and was reminded of how much I love this track.

Oh! You Pretty Things- David Bowie
Thought this sounded good right after "Paintbox."

Let Down- Radiohead
My friend saw Radiohead live for the first time and raved on and on. I checked out the setlist from the show he attended and saw very little from the records I loved and plenty from the records I just don't get. It made me want to listen to "OK Computer," which I haven't heard in ages. Picked this one for a SOTD.

Neither One Of Us- Gladys Knight & The Pips
Felt like hearing it.

Love Hungry Man-AC/DC
I've owned the "Highway To Hell" record for 40 years and when this popped up on the iPod, it was as if I was hearing it for the first time. Totally unrecognizable to me. And it's a great one. How does that happen?

Low Expectations- The Rails
Well, if you read this blog, you know how I feel about The Rails. I get the feeling, from the lack of activity, you don't feel the same way. Either way, their version of Edwyn Collins' "Low Expectations" is a heartbreaker and I was hoping they would play it when I saw them this week. They did not, so I did.

Summertime- Booker T. & The MGs
Another iPod shuffle surprise and a great way to finish up this mix.

Well I love The Rails and I recommend Kami Thompson's Solo album "Love Lies" also to Rails fans if they are not familiar with Kami's album.

And a great Beatles cover on Kami’s record, too, Captain.
