Trouble Boys- Thin Lizzy
Phil Lynott would have been 71 this week and there was a lot of Thin Lizzy in the social media air. This was one of my daily cover versions, but those go by so quickly, I felt like giving this great one another chance.

Caesar's Palace Blues- U.K.
The Traveling (Rotating) Wilburys of prog rock, this great track comes from the trio version of the band, which loses guitarist Allan Holdsworth and replaces Bill Bruford on drums with Terry Bozzio. I love both albums, though I think there is better playing with Bruford and Holdsworth but better songs without Holdsworth and with Bozzio.

Lord Of The Manor- The Everly Brothers
I mention at least four times a year how there are no bad Everlys records, and I will mention again how I think they deserve to be placed as high as some of the more obvious acts in music history and not be considered an oldies act. This one is a curio, a non album track, bordering on psychedelia. Phil and Don even do that well!

Hanky Panky Nohow- John Cale
This one was stuck in my brain after my One Sentence Review and it needed to come out.

Both Belong- The Grays
If I had to make a list of favorite songs of all time, I think very few would come out of the 90s. This Jason Falkner tune with The Grays would be on that list. I love everything about it--the structure, the melody, his vocal and the lyrics. "I can't be the only one, who's in line for some sunshine."

Gong With The Luminous Nose- Les Fleur de Lys
Yet one more leftover from my bud Sal Maida's radio show. He played John Bromley, which I featured here. Bromley was backed on that track by Les Fleur De Lys, which is featured today. Great psych pop.

We Have All The Time In The World- Louis Armstrong
As our buddy Jayessemm says, "the most underappreciated Bond theme." I'd like to add, "...from the most underappreciated Bond film." God bless George Lazenby and Satchmo, for delivering such a heartbreaking vocal soon before his passing.
