Enjoying this mix makes you an asshole, or so I've been told.
Oh well, to paraphrase Linda Low in "Flower Drum Song," I enjoy being an asshole.

Nice mix, asshole!
just like metal will never go away, there'll always be a place for prog
I dig it!
I still enjoy Mr. Simels' commentary even when he's completely wrong. I'm a diehard Moody Blues fan and still think his description of the post-Denny Laine incarnation of the band as "The Moody Blues cure cancer" is hilarious.
I guess this proghead is an asshole. Nice selection of tunes

"The Moody Blues cure cancer" is indeed hilarious.
"Go fucking fuck yourself" not so much.
It's not the first time. Or even the fifth time. It's become unpleasant, like watching Lenny Bruce relentlessly read from his court transcripts instead of doing his act. I'm not amused anymore.
sal -- just so you know, I have never thought you were, nor have I said you you were an asshole.
Looks like it's chilly there! Giggity! Looks like I'm an asshole.
He the photo. If you watch the video I cant get over how he keeps his eyes on her face the whole time.... could you do that?
Thanks for the mix. Some good choices, especially the Genesis & KC. A proggy mix a mite overdue I would venture. And as for Fripp & Toyah, I've seen that video and others of theirs. Couldn't sleep for a week afterwards. I'm going back again tomorrow. Cheers!
Another Green World is the Best.
"St. Elmo's Fire" is the best. Fripp's frenetic guitar lines are the best.
I never considered Eno or, even, King Crimson, prog-rock, the presumed underlining theme here. Probably my shortcoming.
I haven't listened to "Fallen Angel" in ages, and didn't even know it by its title, so thank you for the re-introduction.
I always enjoyed John Wetton's vocals. It's probably a personal thing, but I love his reserved, restrained, limited wail. It lines up perfectly with my heartstrings.
@Christopher
I'm not sure I consider Eno and KC prog-rock. This mix was inspired by a series of vitriolic comments denouncing ALL prog-rock. I chose these songs as sort of an antithesis to the commonly criticized side-long epics about fairy kings, and specifically Robert Fripp as a guitar player.
