I Tried

Yesterday, Brooklyn Vegan posted "28 New Songs Out Today." I listened to a little bit of all of them, hoping I could share a few here and appear to have my finger on the pulse of new music. With apologies to Tropical Fuck Storm, Slothrust, Bad Waitress, BNNY, and the other 24, I found it all a whole lot of nothing.

BUT...my boys The Jaded Hearts Club dug out another deep cut from the vaults of Motown that really kicked my ass and put me in a good mood. I guess 29's the charm.

I can't speak to the other twenty eight but I'm diggin' the Jaded Hearts Club track. It drove me to the Frank Wilson original -- at least today I'm voting for the new cover!

Thanks Sal.

The Jaded Hearts Club is a refreshing, loving take on their influences. And they seem to be having a blast.

That rocks! I'll take this over the original too.
