Stephen, Four of the Who 60's collections from Japan were recently repressed, including a true stereo version of "My Generation" with the alternate cover. Not cheap, but nothing close to the cost of originals.
"I have read that the repressings are not as good as the original ones."
Well, I guess it is in the ear of the beholder. I am waiting on my copy of "My Generation," which is apparently using true stereo versions, something not done on the original. I think "Exciting The Who" sounds fantastic, and I swear it's an alternate version of "So Sad About Us," as I am hearing guitars I hadn't heard the first 5000 times I played that song.

Sal....Yes I saw those had been repressed......Interesting choice for re-issues I suppose.
I was interested if you had an "original" copy.
I have read that the repressings are not as good as the original ones.

And no, I do not own original copies, so I couldn't compare.
