Mental Health Day

a) "It will be a 75 minute mix of early 60's ska singles on the Blue Beat label."

b) "The Who Sell Out! No, really."

c) "And then the moron approached the stage and slapped Chris Rock."

d) "So spit out the cat and I'll give you back your five bucks."

I will make the case that "The Dreaming" is better than "Hounds of Love". Side one of HOL *is* awesome (and perhaps her best side of any album). But "The Ninth Wave" has never connected with me. "The Dreaming", on the other hand, challenges me with every listen in such a good way. But I get that "Sat In Your Lap" can turn people off as an opener when Kate uses her screeching voice.

Enjoy the day off!

Shriner, I listened to both. And I agree with you. I forgot how quirky and wonderful "The Dreaming" is from side to side. "Sat In Your Lap" is a personal fave, actually. I like "The Ninth Wave" more than you do, but it def stalls the whole experience.

c) What is black on black crime?
d) What was the last thing the Wuhan vendor said to the American tourist before he offered him a bat sandwich?

Mental health is not a given. It takes some effort and the occasional day to focus on it.

Hi
Stumbled on your blog from Twilightzone and found the Ok Go and Bonerama cover of Rock'n'roll Suicide.
Thanks for turning me on to that. It's great!
