Two Sisters- The Kinks
One of my ten favorite Ray Davies songs. Maybe even Top 5.

All Gone Away- The Style Council
One of my ten favorite Style Council songs. Maybe even Top 5.

It's Only You (Mein Schmerz)- Lene Lovich
Listening to Wet Leg brought to mind a number of artists, including Lene Lovich, who is somehow 74 years old! "No Man's Land" is a much better album than it ever got credit for and this single is a real keeper.

Acid- Ray Barretto
The title cut from the "Revolver" of Latin boogaloo albums. I highly recommend listening to all of "Acid," which also includes the original "Deeper Shade of Soul," a late 80's hit for Urban Dance Squad.

How Can I- Steve Hackett w/Richie Havens
An unlikely pairing for sure, but the Genesis guitarist's second solo album "Please Don't Touch" is not your typical prog guy, solo affair. It's a very accessible record with some wonderful pop tunes, including this beauty.

Sorry- The Easybeats
See "One Sentence Review" on the left.

The One You Love- Rufus Wainwright
Wainwright's "Want One" is his masterpiece, so "Want Two" felt like a disappointment. It just got a vinyl reissue and I listened for the first time in years and it no longer felt like disappointment. I still prefer "Want One," but "Want Two" is no slouch.

I'm outta here!

Looking forward to this mix. I hope your time in N'Awlins is fabulous... let's hope we get a full report after.

Very nice songs! Thanks. I just returned from an extended weekend in New Orleans myself.
