So, vinyl is back! Right?
Wrong!
It seems like the entire vinyl community has gone on hiatus all at the same time.
It could be that all the people who wanted an original copy of "Purple Rain" with the poster already bought an original copy of "Purple Rain" with the poster, because there's no logical reason why I haven't been able to sell one for $30 in over a month. Back when vinyl really was back, "Purple Rain" wouldn't last an hour in my shop at $50.
That being said, I'm going to be busy today and tomorrow, as I have a few hundred new arrivals to price. While that's happening, I would take advantage of yours truly. I'm selling some terrific records for a lot less than they should be selling for, in an effort to make a few bucks. Call it "Sal's Ain't No Way To Make A Living Sale!"
Shop HERE
New arrivals will be posted all weekend.
Thanks for looking.

If it's any consolation, it also seems the entire veterinary dental community has gone on hiatus, as well.
I shared your link on FB - and I'm willing to go to "jail" for it!
Business will pick up.
I just bought my first music CD in...a decade? Probably at least. Are compact discs back too? :)
A thought about rare vinyl... A NJ record store recently had six Beatles Butcher blocks for sale. Is there a glut of rare vinyl coming onto the market as the baby boomer generation is dying and their heirs are left with a bunch of records they don't want? Does the younger generation want rare Elvis Presley records?
