It seems that a few people are having trouble with the sidebars. Everything is working on my end and I can see them when I access from other devices.
What might be happening, other than a browser issue on your end is this.
If you are accessing the blog through a tablet or your phone, you might need to scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on "WEB VERSION." The sidebars get lopped off if you access the blog from your smartphone.
I hope that solves the problem and you can go back to enjoying the Chat Box, Song Of The Day, and the rest of the nonsense I post daily.

thanks for the prompt reply, Sal. I can't find "web version" at the page bottom or elsewhere. But now I know the problem is at my end, I'll keep working on it.

Fixed! The problem was at my end, for a reason so idiotic I'd rather not tell.
My router is not working AND I can't figure out the remote on my tv. Will you come over and fix them as well? Yes, they're plugged in!
Shout It Out is absent most of the time, but in the last couple months it has appeared a few times. The rest is always there. At about the same time as Shout disappeared, I couldn't directly download your ZIPs anymore, so I'm thinking an update at my end bolloxed BW. I figured a workaround for the ZIPs, but Shout's still a no-show. As long as I can read and hear the main page, I'm a happy guy.

Shout Out has been hit or miss for the past few weeks on my laptop. I'm using the latest version of Chrome too.
Shout Out is rarely accessible for me. I can see the box where its located, and labeled, but everything else is blank. Rest of the page is fine. Access from a laptop with latest version of Chrome.
Shout It Out is the only thing that is hit or miss for me, regardless of Firefix on the pc or Safari on the mobile web version.

Shout It Out is the wonky one for me too--the others are always there. Using Chrome desktop mostly.

Chrome is the common connection. On my personal computer I have Firefox, and I see the sidebar, and I can directly download the ZIPs. On my work computer -- which I use 99% of the time -- it has Chrome.
So now I know.

I often wondered what Shout It Out was supposed to be, as it's always just a blank box for me. Plus I've been trying to grow sidebars for years without success, same as a mustache or beard! Oh well
