Fuck Yeah! Peace Sells. First time I heard it was when I was shopping at Moby Disc's store on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. They had the thrash cranked. I liked that store. There was a bar next door to it. They had a pool table. Sometimes I'd go there and hustle guys at 8-Ball. I've got mad pool skills. I'd use my winnings to buy records. Those guys hated being beat by a chick. But they reluctantly forked over the cash. I'd tell them it was all about geometry, physics and visualization. This pissed them off more.
I didn't expect any positive reaction to this track, but I genuinely love it and the "Peace Sells" record. The musicianship on "Bad Omen" is mindblowing. I saw them At Irving Plaza on this tour, wanting only to hear this track and they didn't do it. Then friends went to the L'Amour show in Brooklyn weeks later and they did do it. I was crushed.
My son is at a metal mega concert—like a dozen bands on two stages—in East Williamsburg tonight. I've never heard of any of the bands but most have very spiky logos so I'm sure they'll be great.

Well that was certainly a change of pace. We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog... (I hope.)

This is the first Megadeth song I've ever heard... well, the first few seconds of a Megadeth song I've ever heard.
