Too Much Blood- The Rolling Stones
We Need Love- Johnny Osbourne
Teen Town- Weather Report
What Comes Funky- Parliament
House- Psychedelic Furs
I Take The Blues When It Rains- Butch Cage & Willie Thomas
What Do You Want From Life- The Tubes
Too Much Blood- The Rolling Stones
(A friend posted about how much he loves this song and how it should have been a bigger hit, which made me pull out "Undercover" for the first time in ages. This album has aged well and this song should have been a bigger hit.)
We Need Love- Johnny Osbourne
("Truths And Rights" just got a much needed reissue. I highly suggest giving it a spin if you dig this track.)
Teen Town- Weather Report
(The one and only Jaco Pastorius on both bass and drums!)
What Comes Funky- Parliament
(I don't know anyone who thinks "Chocolate City" is Parliament's best, but it's the album I always reach for.)
House- Psychedelic Furs
("Book Of Days" was not a critical success, and I'm not too sure Furs fans liked it either. But I think it really holds up.)
I Take The Blues When It Rains- Butch Cage & Willie Thomas
(Did anyone listen to "Raise A Ruckus Tonight" in its entirety? Well, it's there on Friday's post if you didn't. Here's my favorite track. I absolutely love the title change from "I Get The Blues' to "I Take The Blues When It Rains."
What Do You Want From Life- The Tubes
("Don't watch the food cook!")

My high school English teacher played rock n roll in class and encouraged us to check out bands like U2 (awesome!) and The Tubes. When I said in class I couldn't get into their breakout album "Outside Inside" he responded, "Giltz, your ignorance is showing." Everyone laughed! (He knew I could take it.)
I’ve been to revisit UNDERCOVER for ages. I suspect it’s seriously underrated.
I always loved that track from The Tubes. Thanks.
MEANING to revisit. 😎
