I bought a lottery ticket. 1. Something good should come out of this day. 2. Winning the lottery is about the only way poor schlubs like me can get ahead. If you're not born rich or already rich, you're screwed.
As much as I prepared myself for the embarrassment that the inauguration would bring, I have to give it to him - it far exceeded the lowest rung I could imagine. My sole saving grace is that in a little more than 1 year I can obtain permanent residency in Spain.
Thanks, Onion! It only took him about 2 hours to violate the Constitution he swore an oath to uphold. Then he pardoned people who fought with cops, and pardoned and commuted the sentences of two of their leaders. Because maga.
But.... Melania wore a hat that wouldn't let him kiss her. My bet is that it was deliberate. And Hillary laughed her ass off when he said "Gulf Of America". It will only get worse.
Over here we watch through our fingers in disbelief while singing D.Reams "Things can Only Get Better" a la the Tony Blair years in the hope they will. Cheers!
