I wonder if it might help to think of yourself as a radio dj. They broadcast every day and have no idea how many are hearing them. Phone calls (comments) to the station only represent a minority of the listeners. Maybe a different mind set? I stop by every day, i like your SOTW but I don't always comment. (I feel an amateur amongst experts) I would hate to lose you.

Looks like a great mix. And fun to see a track by Dr. John, but referred to here by his real name. Thank you Sal!

Sal: your site is part of my everyday routine. I’ve learned so much from it. I’m just not a commenter. But I do hit the contribute button every year. Maybe should up the frequency on that. What I’m trying to say is thank you.

enjoy the content. Found it through a post ( long ago) focusing on some good power pop. Always good to find like minded people.

Mac's 'Sahara' and the earlier (1959!!) 'Storm Warning' were my intros to the stuff he did before he became the good Doctor. It's stuff like that -- chasing down pre-fame output -- that's led me to gems by Bob Marley's 60's Wailers, JJ Cale's late 50s-early 60s stuff (as Johnny Cale), the Allman Bros' early iterations (Hourglass and 31st of February), pre-CCR Golliwogs, and pre-Velvets Lou Reed's pop songs.
Let me add my voice to the chorus of well-wishers, Sal. Hang in there, whatever you decide.
