Weeded Out

I know some of you, like me, love The Roches, while some of you just don't get them. I understand.
But I woke up this morning thinking of this song and so here it is.

Love the Roches—and that whole album. And "A Dove." Neither ever got the love and respect of their debut but I think they're just as good.

"Weeded Out" never gets old. . . but we do.
Another great song on the same theme: Amy Rigby's "Invisible"

I really enjoyed Maggie and Terre's Seductive Reasoning duo album, which I just listened to for the first time. Thx!

Thanks - a day with the Roches is always a great day.

And the Paul Weller cover made the day even better - thanks.

I've tried with the Roches and none of their records ever really did it for me, but two things they did are super-special. Their Christmas CD We Three Kings might well be the best ever Christmas record, and if not, it's top 5 for sure. And on Endless Highway, an excellent tribute to The Band that's much better than most of those things, they did the most stunningly beautiful Acadian Driftwood, just breathtaking. Their harmonies are so wonderful.

Always a sucker for the Roches harmonies, nice way to start the day.
