"A Handful Of Badfingers": THE WEEKEND MIX

This week's discovery of The Midnight Callers couldn't help but bring to mind the Badfinger song. As a matter of fact, even while listening to The Midnight Callers, I couldn't get "Midnight Caller" out of my head. So I thought a Weekend Mix might give it a shove out of my brain.

The ten track mix has a couple of hits, just to keep listeners interested. But it's primarily my favorite deep cuts.

Enjoy.

Seems like none of the songs from the Badfinger album titled Badfinger didn't make the list. Might I suggest the song "Why Don't We Talk" from that album. It's a stand-out track from a stand-out album

No Dice, self titled 3rd and Wish You Were Here are as good as pop music got, great melodies, well sung, great song structure and intelligent lyrics. Plus Baby Blue closed out the series Breaking Bad in a perceptible way. The "I guess I got what I deserved" lyrics pretty much sums up the last episode and the series.

Was there ever a more tragic band than Badfinger?!?

Love this band! So sad that they had such a tragic ending.
