Neil Finn's second solo record "One All," aka "One Nil" felt like a disappointment after "Try Whistling This," Neil's 1999 release, which I loved. But after a few mediocre Crowded House records, and a few more so-so solo records, "One Nil" sounds fantastic 25 years later.
The 2001 release features a band that includes The Revolution's Wendy & Lisa, Jim Keltner, Mitchell Froom, Lisa Germano and Sheryl Crow, and though the production can be a bit dense at times, underneath it all you will find some truly wonderful pop gems, which Finn in recent years, seemed to forget how to write.
I've listened to "One Nil" more in the last six months or so, than I have since its release almost 25 years ago, and I've enjoyed it immensely, so much so, it inspired me to say so.

Good call. I really love the original Turn & Run (w/Sheryl Crow), and Into the Sunset is sublime. This clip is fantastic: https://youtu.be/blNuKD-J0cE?si=wHk577pzkOI6bxyu
Somehow I skipped this one, though I saw it many times in various record shops. Will give the album a few spins based on the quality of the tracks you posted.

Well-crafted pop. The gift that keeps on giving.
Showing my ignorance: One Nil / One All ... are those kinda the same, completely different, ...?
"Nil" was released first, and then a year later "All" was released with a slightly different mix and a slightly altered track list.
Nil wasn't released in the US; All was.
That too.
Got it -- thanks
