Just Brilliant
First I want to apologize to all waiting for the Tuesday, new release round-up. New Orleans left me with limited time, resources and internet service. All will be back to normal next Tuesday.
I received an e-mail from a friend while I was there, with a link to this video. The e-mail said, "Thought you may like this." After watching, admittedly not too carefully, I responded. "OK, I don't understand. Why would you think I would like this?" His reply, "I thought it was kind of incredible. Did you notice the visuals are like music notation? Or maybe you did and it didn't hit you as it hit me."
I didn't. I watched it again. I think it's kind of incredible.

Originally released in 1969 as a way to divert attention from the bootleg sensation Live'r Than You'll Ever Be, Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out received a lavish reissue treatment 40 years later, expanded to a three-CD/one-DVD set complete with a thick accompanying booklet. Instead of adding that original boot as a bonus, this anniversary edition fills out the November 1969 Madison Square Garden concert that provided the basis for the original LP, adding an EP's worth of unreleased Stones tracks from the show plus the opening sets by B.B. King and Ike & Tina Turner, along with a DVD of live and behind-the-scenes footage.

I kinda see it, it's really more like kick drum hits, I guess it would help if I could read music, either way, it's an interesting premise. Welcome back Mr. Wood, if you read this carefully, you will see, that the comas, are sort of like kick drum hits, as well, or are they just, incredibly annoying, overused, and redundant.
Well, for this typist, who can barely expand an image in photoshop, it is incredible.
It's always a treat to "see" something, and then "see" the same image again from another's "eye" and it takes on a whole other meaning for us.

It wasn't long before I figured out that you actually had to watch it without "mute" on, to understand. :) But yeah, it's kind of cool. I don't mind the chemical brothers - but I have also seen a similar visual pattern done in other videos.
