"Meanstreets " was a Springsteen fan in the seventies & was at one of those shows at the " Bottom Line " when " Born to Run " was released....it was a great time...I cut him off not long after that...the music really bored me & his radical liberal proselytizing exposed his self hating white liberal guilt...And now I hear often from others he should hang it up...the recent CD's are weak & his live shows are embarrassing for a man of his advanced age...I urge him to give it up, maybe write a book, if he can recall his past...there is so much better music out there....look to AUSTIN TX, instead of, " e gads ", new jersey !!!...readers of this site deserve better....I know Sal agrees with Meanstreets....but he wants approval from the masses....I understand Sal, but vehemently disagree....
no, i don't think nayone should take this one, sal. meanstreets fails the test you nicely set out in the "try to see it my way post." he doesn't use reason to explain passion, he just utters generalities and invective.

Anyone wanna take this one?
I'm not sure there's any point in arguing here. It's like trying to talk sense with a born again.
