I assume you didn't see Lucia Micarelli playing out on the street. Damn. When is she going to do a New Orleans album already?

Actually Jeff, right in front of Rouses Supermarket, on that very same corner where Lucia Micarelli was discovered playing in that early episode, there is a lookalike with a fiddle. And the tourists are lining up for the photo-op.

Anytime you want to 'get it out of your system' and we end up with the stories, pictures, and music you have shared, fine by me. Glad you had a good Fest.

WOW!!!! Downloading as I write, but live Spoonbread and Phil Phillips with CC and Dr J is way awesome.
Sea of Love is one of my earliest musical memories and I love it dearly.

This one looks great... I'm wanting some of that SPOONBREAD now!!

The only cool thing about this weekend's Jazz Fest lineup (which I'm lamentably missing) is that Jimmy Buffet is headlining one night... seeing his name plastered up there as if that's a cool thing makes it easier to miss it this time 'round. Same thing when they had Bon Freakin' Jovi headlining.....
