You Thought He Was Good As Clemenza?

Here's a treat from my friend Mike Sac:

This kid's grandparents had a great store on Bath Ave. in Brooklyn when I was growing up. We all bought a lot of stuff from them. Their son John opened a store around the corner from where I lived in the 70's/80's. I bought a LOT of guitars from HIM.

This is John's son Rich, who plays bass in Blue Oyster Cult. Recently, there was some sort of Queen audition and I think this was his audition tape.

Even if you can't bring yourself to listen to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" ever again, find five minutes for this.

FANTASTIC! The performance, the editing all superb. Do you think it would be alright if I shared this with some friends on FB?

Goes to show you that for every artist who "makes it" there are many others who don't, for a variety of reasons and toil away in obscurity. Sometimes it all comes down to fate and circumstances. Really great!

WOW!! Pretty incredible. Shows what you could do with some talent, instruments and a recording studio.

I wonder if he does any Ladysmith Black Mambazo tunes.

Incredible! Really great work..super talent...like cmealha says, so many brilliant talents never "make" it....and look what does sometimes. Joy for the day, Thanks.

I'm still floored by this video, even though it sort of makes me want to burn all my guitars.
