Thanks, Sal. I'm picking these up and enjoying them every week, so I figure I ought to stop in and say thanks now and then. There are no comments as I type this, but I'm assuming that's because you're out & haven't had time to do the moderation thing.

I had been out, but no. No comments to moderate. SOTW rarely gets comments. One or two regulars really enjoy it, and say so. But that's usually it. Thanks for the comment.

Count me in among the enjoyers! There's a lot to be said for the well-thought-out mixes you often post, and a lot to be said sometimes for just putting out the tunes that have most interested you recently, regardless of "cohesion" in a mix. Thanks Sal.

Sal,

Before I saw the above comments I planned to send this message. Now I gotta echo the others.

I know I'm not alone in really digging these SOTW. Yet somehow they don't command comment like other mixes and posts.

Even when we don't comment always remember how much your loyal Burning Wooders enjoy these songs and all the fun you bring to this blog and to us listeners.

Thanks!

I also agree with the others. A good little sampler. You have some I like, some I have heard a few things by and some that I haven't heard anything by. I never know when that next artist that WOW's me might pop up. That is one of the reasons that you are one of the first sites I check out in the morning. (Also one of the last each day to read the excellent comments). Thanks for all you do.

That's a great Hiatt song via Nick Lowe. I actually like it better than She Don't Love Nobody, which seems to get more attention (at least on The Doings, anyway). In fact, Pinker and Prouder Than Previous doesn't get the love it deserves.
