Ladies & Germs...It's Almost Time For Burning Love?.

Yes friends and followers, we've got a good thing goin' here. But come Monday, we'll have something else, too.

BURNING LOVE?.

It's simple.

Every Monday I post a subject. Bob Dylan, Reggae Music, Guitar Solos, Live Albums, Worst Indie Band, etc. I'll set the wheels in motion with...something, a video, a song, an opinion. You then have a week to contribute however you'd like. Or, if you're not fond of the subject, you could share the bile, too.

All activity will be in the comments section.

The goal?

One big discussion at a time. We'll stay focused for a week, giving time to everyone to come up with contributions. Maybe we'll learn something new from each other. Or discover a great new performance, or a lost track. We could theoretically create "Weekend Mixes" together, based on the subject and the suggestions. Or even possibly be convinced by some ardent supporters of someone  we thought we didn't care for, that just maybe, it's time to give that band another shot.

The floor is ours.

See you Monday.

Sounds a hunka hunka good!

Focused discussions generally go off focus and head out on interesting tangents where there are strong personalities involved. I have no doubt this is going to be such a place and I look forward to getting to know the hoary hosts of hogwash gathering under this new roof.

Sounds like fun Sal.

I can only imagine how much work it is to keep Burning Wood fresh and I know I speak for many when I say how much I appreciate all your efforts.

Speaking totally selfishly I would hate to lose the weekly mixes and the songs of the day. Let's see if the Burning Love community can keep the Burning Wood mix legacy alive.

Nothing is changing on Burning Wood.

Burning Love? is just an addition.

I'll start cataloguing my pithy, yet ill-informed, opinions! (Or, um, I'll try to participate properly.) I look forward to it!

Should be good - as long as you stay away from religion & politics!!
