"August 2013" : THE WEEKEND MIX
Mixtape Tip #4:
Use John Barry's "Into Miami" as the second song of your mix regardless of the theme and your mix will instantly become better.
Enjoy!
I like this one.
Stay in trouble.

Now I just lurve the theme of this Weekend Mix - excellent stuff! And I know just what you mean about the John Barry tune: many's the time I've cut a rug to that one, plus ending with FZ's Peaches En Regalia - perfect! Have a super weekend (you've made mine)...
Excellent. I'll have to remember the Into Miami rule.
And, not that we needed reminding, Jon Cleary is the bomb!
Thanks sal
That pic of the Saturn 45 ... AWESOME ... was looking for some Sonny in the mix. I miss the brother from another planet. Maybe a mix some time in the future for a soundtrack for our travels (to Saturn)?
Mr. Maranucci,
There is that very single pictured in the mix.
Ah yes The Cosmic Rays - was looking for Sonny's name. Operator error. Thanks for keeping the music going!
Thanks Sal. You went ahead and made my day.
Iggy
As you say about the positioning of John Barry, closing with Peaches will always have people believing that what they just heard was the best mix tape they have EVER heard. Inspired!
