If This Was Redd Kross, I Bet You'd All Love It

Maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but only a bit. I can definitely hear Redd Kross in this Ace Frehley tune from his 1978 solo debut. I can hear a few other power pop bands, too. Nevertheless, I always loved this goofball, and this song surprised the heck out of me when it started playing on my iPod.

Apart from the Peter Criss solo KISS album, I've always loved the other 3 solo albums. Paul, Gene and Ace were probably at the top of their games and each sound completely different from the other.

I spin the Paul Stanley album more than the others, but Ace is a close second with Gene bringing up the pack.

I have always loved the vocals by Redd Kross. I couldn't listen to Ace's singing for more than a minute or two.

It's not a stretch at all. The vocals and lyrics ruin it for me though.
