I See Your "Oohs & Aahs" and Raise You a "Rat-A-Tat!"
Do you know who Jim Peterik is? He was in a band called Survivor. They had a hit with a song called "Eye Of The Tiger."
Some of you might remember the hit single "Vehicle" by a band called Ides Of March. Also, Peterik.
Can't say I'm a fan of either of those songs, though I sure wish I had written both.
I am a fan though, of "Sweet Fools" by a little known soul band called Essence. Give it a listen. What a production. I mean, "Rat-a-Tat," for Pete's sake. What a genius move! I will take a "Rat-A-Tat" refrain over a "Shoop-Shoop" any day.

Very nice sweet soul. I could hear Hall and Oates doing this. I kind of like High On You by Survivor though.
