This gaslighting thing is very interesting. I had no idea that word was having a moment. A relative said to me recently I am gaslighting her, and it was super hurtful (after I googled what it means, adding to the list of googles that led to this meme).
But at least now (seeing that this is a word used a lot this year) I can guess a bit better why she was incorrectly using that word (as she admitted later) - it must be because it relates to some right-wing talking point, and she's a right-wing person.
