While I am more of a fan of Heart's 70's, Led Zeppelin inspired material than I am of their 80's, MTV hairband, more successful material, I've always loved "Alone." The multi-talented Richie Castellano thinks it's "arguably the best power ballad ever" and here, with The Band Geeks fronted by the powerhouse that is Anne Marie Nacchio, is their take, which I think is pretty damn great.

The Band Geeks tear it up! I learned to like "Alone" from this version by Robert Forster (Go-Betweens) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiN7bRGYy88
And that Keith Jarrett cover of My Back Pages is pretty tasty, too.

Fantastic! She is one helluva singer and the rest of the boys are remarkable as well. As great as the performance itself is, I am amazed at the quality of the sound they're getting on these recordings. I'm jealous.
@cmealha,
They probably do it the same way they do it on Daryl's House--record it live and then mix it before airing.
Sal, However it's done, it's great. Kudos!
I can't decide what is more impressive - Ann Marie Nacchio hitting the Ann Wilson hitting the notes sitting down or Ritchie hitting Nancy's harmonies standing.
Stadium sound in a studio. Ripping lead and nice high harmony. Impressive.
