I got exposed to this music when I was about 10 years old and I still love those early Brazil ‘66 albums all these decades later. I learned early that you don’t have to know the language to enjoy the music. (But I think I picked up a little Portuguese over the years.) Lani Hall’s first solo album is also a classic. Thanks for the memories Sergio.
My dad has a lot of Sergio and Ramsey Lewis albums in his collection. So growing up I heard a lot more of their stuff than just the hits. It's a bummer he died but he got 8 decades plus. Jerry Moss died about a year ago. Herb Allpert's pushing 90.

His early recordings were, and are still, amazing.
Another one of the greats is gone. Still enjoy the music after all the years.
