Bob Mould's new one, "Here We Go Crazy" sounded pretty pretty good on first go and even better the second time around. Clocking in at a little over 30 minutes, there is little fat to trim. Bob sounds incredibly inspired, so much so, that halfway through, I felt like this record could have been made right after the Husker's "Candy Apple Grey" and right before Sugar's "Copper Blue."
Check out "Here We Go Crazy" toot sweet!

Well that certainly kicked ass.
Pretty cool.
Gimme me some sugar, Bobby. The man can certainly rock out.
Damn - love this! Will definitely check out more!
I love this record - just ordered it!! Saw him solo last year on his birthday in Amherst, MA. J. Mascis, Lou Barlow and Jason Narducy served him a cake and sang Happy Birthday!
I'm a big fan, seen him live, solo, with band and with Sugar, many times, love most of his solo albums yet after a few listens I'm not feeling this one. The playing is great and committed but for me, so far, the tunes and hooks aren't as good as the run from District Line to Sunshine Rock. I'll try again, though.
