I won't drag you down into the Band Geek rabbit hole with me after this last post. I promise. But I love this take on Jefferson Starship's "Jane." I've loved everything I've watched by these guys. If I am not focused in wonder on Andy Ascolese on the drums, I am focused in wonder on Andy Ascolese on the keyboards, or Richie Castellano on everything, damnit! But mostly, I can't take my eyes and ears off singer Ann Marie Nacchio, now Ann Marie Castellano. She nails Mickey Thomas' vocals. Sitting Down! Cross-legged!
This killed me.

Loved it! I love the song even when it was reimagined as "Fantasy" by Aldo Nova. :-)
"Freedom At Point Zero" is one of those records that needs a reevaluation. An overlooked classic rock album. "We Built This City" tarnished the "Starship" brand and that's unfortunate. All of the "Jefferson Starship" albums have something great on them and can be enjoyed if you don't drag the baggage of the Airplane along with them.
