This all started because I wanted to share the Sam Elwitt Orchestra's cover of "In Another Land," the Bill Wyman track from "Their Satanic Majesties Request." I couldn't find a YouTube video or an MP3, so I searched for The Bo-Keys doing the Stones' "Congratulations," which reminded me of their version of the Stealers Wheel track. And before you know it...COVERS!
Enjoy.

Thanks as always for the weekend mix and hey who doesn't love a good covers collection.
P
I can't wait to listen to that. Thanks so much for posting it.
You seem to have this covers thing covered.
And thanks for that!
What a fine mix!
Thanks Sal
One of these days, I am going to know all the original artists without having to google it!
Thanks as usual for expanding my knowledge.
Oh hell yeah! Looks like a great mix!
A tasty compilation. Who did the original of the Frampton cut?
CMEALHA,
My error! The Frampton is an original. I meant to put "May I Baby," the Sam & Dave cut, which is the cut right after "Everything I Need" on the Frampton album.
Oops.
CMEALHA,
Actually and more accurately, I meant to put "Everything I Need," but mistakenly thought it was also an Isaac hayes/David Porter tune, like "May I Baby."
Great cover mix, as only you could put together. Love good covers. Actually, I'm in the process of making an "answer song" mix. Should be interesting, believe it or not there's a ton of them out there.
And I'm also pleased to know that The John Sally Ride is taking off again. Have fun!
About that Prince track -- all I can say is Hole. E. Shit.
Excellent! I have loved your covers collections over the years. Some real gems in there (as always).
