My introduction to Tim Christensen was the 2012 "Pure McCartney" project which featured Christensen, his band The Damn Crystals and special guests Mike Viola and Tracy Bonham recreating Paul McCartney's "Ram" live on stage. Yes, the performance is wonderful, but not just because the music is so damn perfect. There is so much joy oozing from the stage, it almost overshadows the musicianship. The entire concert needs to not just be heard, but seen as well. Special thanks to hpunch for letting me in on this secret almost ten years ago.
I'll get you started with these two clips.
I bring this up today because I think everyone should be listening to Tim Christensen, who is a superstar of sorts in his home country of Denmark, and I am hoping tomorrow's Weekend Mix will be a great introduction to Tim's music for all of you.

Oh I look forward to tomorrow cuz I'm stuck in a rut!
Sounds like a good way to start the weekend
I have you to thank for turning me on to Tim, as well as the McCartney show. A great 'unknown' talent who deserves all the accolades. The best thing to come out of Denmark since Legos.
These are great, and now I have something to look forward to this weekend. Thanks.
I hope there's some Dizzy Mizz Lizzy in the mix
That Too Many People is unbelievable!
That's fantastic! Thanks for posting it.
