Boss Of The Blues

Please enjoy the one and only Charles Brown and his 1964 cover of a song best associated with Steve Lawrence and Donny Osmond. It's only four minutes long, but it felt like I watched one of the most intense noir films of all time.

Was fortunate to have seen him perform a few times. While its a great tune, if you only know him from his yuletide single, you're missing out on a hell of a catalogue (especially the lps he cut for Rounder).

Love Charles Brown. Not enough people have been exposed to his music. He wrote Driftin' Blues that Clapton covered.
