Tonight, will be the nationwide premiere of "Irma Thomas: My Life In Music" a 90 minute documentary of the Soul Queen Of New Orleans. Check your PBS listings for this long overdue tribute to this long underrated legend.
Also, coming up on Friday, the one and only Chuck Prophet will be interviewing Elvis Costello on his Facebook and Instagram show, "Trip In The Country."

Can't wait for the Irma documentary. Unfortunately, our local PBS station isn't broadcasting it until near the end of the month. Already have a note to set my DVR!

Thanks for the alert! The Irma Thomas show is on PBS NJ, not PBS Philly, so I never would have seen the listing.
Thank goodness I got home in time to see this post, and set my DVR!!!!
In Washington, we got to see the Irma Thomas doc last Saturday, and it was great. I've had "Breakaway" running through my head ever since. She needs to be given a Kennedy Center Honor (among other things) ASAP.
