John's my favorite, but the best singer and instrumentalist was Paul. Even things others dismiss, like Why Don't We Do It In The Road, I love just cuz of his singing. C in California
Wow. He's capable of doing so many different things vocally and knowing when to do them. Always been my favorite Beatle and certainly the most prolific. Despite his debut being criticized as slight, I like it. Maybe it's just shits and giggles but it's still brilliant. Maybe I'm Amazed bw Every Night should have been released as a single.

I hear what you mean.
It's a stunner. And Tom Jones kills it again on the cover of the day!
It is an amazing vocal. And, he pulled it off live as well.
Oh yeah!…no “Maybe” about it!
As goofy as this sounds, in some respects I believe he is underappreciated.
It's not only not goofy, it's true. I say it all the time. The Beatles are underrated.
Wonderful! I'm sure I missed the memo still ... have people read Ian Leslie's "John & Paul: A Love Story in Songs?" Made me so happy!

I'm on board with JAYESSEMM about the "John & Paul" book.
Another fine vocal by Sir Paul! I never noticed some of the smaller bits either. Could it be another example of...... John burying Paul......?
After this I wonder if he thought who needs John?
