"Still tasting okay?"

One of the many, many reasons why I love the city of New Orleans:

During my 30 minute lunch of pasta and crawfish, the waiter moseyed on over no less than 5 times to ask me, "Still tasting okay?" Yes sir, it is all tasting just fine.

Weather is perfect. Music is everywhere, and tonight specifically, I will take in the treasure of the Treme, Shannon Powell as he leads the Preservation Hall All-Stars through what will no doubt be a perfect nightcap to day one.

My apologies to those who were expected something a bit more grand for Post 200!

(CONGRATS TO BURNING WOOD!)

But, I need to decompress. Stay tuned.

Menu specifics from tonight's meal available on request.

I would just like to mention that while Sal is in the Crescent City, I remain in the Paris of the Tri-State Metropolitan Area, aka Hackensack New Jersey.

What kind of sick sadistic world do we live in where such an injustice is possible?
