Thanks Sal!

My songs of the week ...

Listening to that Ian Hunter set I was reminded of the version of I Wish I Was Your Mother by Maria McKee (I think I have you to thanks for that too) and that song is in heavy rotation.

Also Michael Kiwanuka -- my favourite cut these days is I'll Get Along

And, showing I'm a slave to hype, The Arcade Fire song from the Hunger Games soundtrack -- Abraham's Daughter -- is wonderful.

Have a great weekend and, as always, many thanks!

Looking forward to hearing this - thanks as always Sal! Didn't Bowie also do a version of Iggy's "Neighborhood Threat" here?

In my days of listening to music, I still get chills at the 1:26 and 3:12 mark when her chorus swoops into the stratosphere, hitting notes that today's auto-tuned replicants couldn't reach with any assistance.

Certainly on the all time favorites list and, maybe, my favorite of hers, as well.
