Did not see this one coming. 52 years old. A remarkable talent and a powerhouse voice. Soulful and warm, yet could move mountains effortlessly.
There is plenty of music to choose from, but Temple Of The Dog remains a favorite. Chris Cornell shines throughout.

This sucks. Way, way too young.
He was a remarkable singer so much more than a screamer, deep, intelligent, with wonderful taste. He was so open about wrestling his demons, of all of this crew of grunge-other than Vedder, my age group (and some of you guys too) born in the musical 60s, I thought he'd still be standing years from now, wiser and still blessing us with that voice. I feel so bad for his family. His version of Nothing Compares to You is a fave.
This was his best moment. I love this vocal performance.
